Have questions? You are in the right place! Below you will find answers to the most common questions about ordering, designing and caring for you custom keepsakes.
How do I prepare my clothing? Please make sure all clothing items are freshly laundered and free of odors or pet hair. Do not cut the clothing, I will handle all the deconstruction. If you have special instructions, please mark the items with tags.
Do you offer Local drop-off and pickup? Yes, if you are in Anchorage, AK I offer local drop-off and pickup. Details will be emailed after your order is placed.
Do you ship? Yes, the customer is responsible for shipping cost to me. I offer free return shipping on all keepsakes.
Can I send clothing with stains and wear? Yes, signs of wear often add sentimental value. I do my best to work around stains or damaged areas.
Can I customize me keepsakes with embroidery? Yes, I love adding a personal touch to your keepsake!
Are Keepsakes Washable? Memory animals and ornaments are not machine washable- gently surface clean with a damp cloth and air dry. Memory quilts and pillowcases can be machine washed in cold water, tumble try. Keep them out of direct sunlight to prevent fading
Do you offer discounts? Yes! I offer 10% off when you order three or more keepsakes at a time. Use discount code 'keepsake' at checkout!
Do you make keepsakes from non-clothing items? Yes, If it is fabric I can use it!
Materials you can not use in keepsakes? Thick or bulky leather, heavy denim, down jackets, sleeping bags, lace or tulle. If you are not sure I can use the material please reach about and we can discuss.
Are keepsakes toys? No, keepsakes are not toys! They are designed as sentimental items for display or gently handling. They are not designed or intended for use as a toy for children 12 and under. Ashley Olanna Design does not accept any liability for the misuse of these keepsakes.
What is your return policy? Since each keepsake is custom-made I do not accept returns or refunds. However, if there are any issues with your order, such as a defect or mistake, please reach out to me within seven business days of receiving you order.
